We are delighted with the final product of our 'Bats of Ireland' colouring book funded through Creative Ireland / Kerry County Council Arts Creative Communities. With beautiful imagery produced by local artist and author Katie O'Donoghue, and informative yext from the Biosphere's Brendan Kirwan, the book has something for everyone.

The colouring book was created to promote awareness about our bat species, and to highlight the habitat requirements of each of our bat species. The book also provides insights into the potentially harmful impact that affect Ireland's bat populations, and mitigation to prevent / minise those impacts. We have distributed the books in primary schools throughout the Biosphere, and to every library in the county of Kerry.  We will continue to distribute our colouring books as more are to be printed in early November, many a household will enjoy our images and text!
