Offcanvas Section

You can publish whatever you want in the Offcanvas Section. It can be any module or particle.

By default, the available module positions are offcanvas-a and offcanvas-b but you can add as many module positions as you want from the Layout Manager.

You can also add the hidden-phone module class suffix to your modules so they do not appear in the Offcanvas Section when the site is loaded on a mobile device.

Here at the Kerry Biosphere we are excited that Spring has landed! Primrose, Snowdrops, and Celandine are sprouting up to join the bold daffodils. We are now in the bird breeding season, no hedge cutting!!, and our mornings are awash with birdsong.

Additionally, our bat species are thinking about making moves as March progresses. They may well move from their winter roosts towards the end of the month should the weather permit. It's an exciting time of year and we are looking forward to the fleeting glimpses of Leisler's stooping from above, flurries of Sopranos flooding our garden sky, and elusive Lesser Horseshoe Bats enjoying our hedgerows and native woodlands. We are very fortunate in our Biosphere to have nine bat species occurring in the reserve and to support the hedgerows, treelines, and woodlands that support our bat species. Personally, I'm looking forward to watching Daubenton's, or the 'water bat' skimming along my local waterways at dusk, class! We always love an excuse to showcase the beautiful artwork from local Kerry artist Katie O'Donoghue, that bat would nearly fly out of the laptop.
