At long last we have printed 'Our Wild Native Woodlands' booklet. The booklets are awash with terrific illustrations, inspired short stories, and poignant poems from school children from around the County and our own Biosphere Officer, Brendan Kirwan.

We have very limited resources for printing these, expertly designed by the Biosphere with great guidance from Tralee Printing. The booklets will be made available to those schools that contributed to the initiative and continue to support our Biosphere. Huge thanks to Loughquitane, Loughfouder, and Barraduff National Schools for their massive efforts, thank you! We would also like to extend a big thank you to talented Tralee artist Tara Lynch who provided beautiful images of Kingfisher, Pine Marten, Red Squirrel, and a native woodland scene.
